Appropriate extrusion can change starch structure and pellet texture. It does not automatically balance protein, vitamins and minerals or make poor ingredients suitable.
Floating fish feed allows observation of surface feeding. Sinking shrimp feed addresses a different requirement. Test pellet shape, floating or sinking behaviour and water stability separately.
Consider material preparation, power, drying, labour, maintenance and storage costs. The machine alone cannot guarantee feed savings, growth, disease prevention, flotation duration or a payback period.
